Detour

I am not a fan of detours. Whenever I am driving and I see that detour sign, I sigh because I know that I am going to be taken off the road that I was on. I’ve never seen a sign that said “expect short delays”! Fact is, we can’t always see where the road is going. But when we surrender control of the steering to the Lord, we can rest assured that we will end up right where we are supposed to be. Not only that, but there will be some amazing things to see along the way!

Trust in the Lord today, especially when you feel like you are caught in one of those uncomfortable and unpredictable detours. He will be your guide. He will help keep you in your lane and on the right highway. And you will be blessed every mile of the journey! There’s something better ahead. Keep moving forward! 😊☕️🙏🏻
