Praying for You

I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know him through your deepening intimacy with him. I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones!
I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. EPH 1:17-19 TPT

Prayer has had many seasons in my life. There were days when I just couldn’t put words together and I would weep uncontrollably. There have also been other times when I didn’t even feel like having a conversation with God. I was angry and hurt and I wanted to blame God and others for my pain. I am so grateful that in times when I came at the Lord like that, He always understood and in His gentle loving kindness, calmed down my spirit and let me crawl back into His lap. He is a good, good father.

One of my greatest joys is praying for others and watching as the Lord does miracles in their lives and surrounds them with favor. Today, you were on my mind and the words that I prayed over you are straight from this prayer Paul prayed in Ephesians. I prayed for you to have great wisdom and a fresh understanding of God’s plans for your life-to feel a deep intimacy with Him. I prayed for some incredible inspiration and creativity to flood out of you in every area. And I asked that the immeasurable power of the Lord would overwhelm you and flow through you as you trust Him daily. I want you to love and be loved. I want you to know the Lord in a very personal way. And I want more than anything for you to see His power working in your life as you walk with Him.

Not a bad way to start the day, right? Enjoy your cup of Joe and have a blessed day!
