This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15

Perhaps my favorite reminder...when we pray we should be mindful that we are asking "according to His will". His will must always supersede our desires and the sweet spot of God's success is when our desires become His will:)

He hears you when you pray according to His will. You can be confident of that. And because you know He hears, you can believe that He will answer!
