Romans 5:4 And endurance(perseverance) develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

There is much to be said of an attitude that perseveres when everything around you yells at you to give up. Your adversaries, those not cheering for you will always call for you to throw in the towel. But you need to stay on track and stay in the game! Perseverance, aka patient endurance will always carry you to the next season...it will always carry you through the next one too! We give up too soon.
