For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins. 2 Peter 1:8,9

Intrigued at all by what “these qualities” may be? You just have to look right before these verses for the answer. To be effective and productive you need GOODNESS, KNOWLEDGE, SELF-CONTROL, PERSEVERANCE, GODLINESS, MUTUAL AFFECTION and LOVE. Not a long list but a very potent one.

If we could attempt to live each day with a large supply of these qualities we can be assured that life will be like it was designed for us to be by God.
