Window of Opportunity
“Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.”- Isaiah 55:6
After I read this I wondered if we would live any differently if we knew that we had a limited window of opportunity to "find God" or talk to Him. I know so many people that live good lives but have never asked Christ to live in their heart and be their Lord. Being good isn't enough. Getting God is the key.
If I knew that my window was today from 10am-noon, I would make preparations to look for Him while He was in the area. I'd set my iphone to alert me when its getting close to that time. I would call when I knew that He was close enough to hear me. He that wins souls is wise. It's what it says in the Book of Proverbs. Perhaps today you can give someone that you love some encouragement to take advantage of their window of opportunity to draw closer to the Lord. This could be the BEST day that they have ever had!
