Blessed

 

Ephesians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 

Think about that for a moment...you are blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing! There is nothing that you will need to live your godly life that is not available to you in some capacity in your life. So smile, lift up your head and thank the Lord! 

Don't try to figure everything out. You don't have to know why everything is the way it is. Life is a bit odd. Sometimes it doesn't make sense. Like why do we park in a driveway and drive on a parkway? Or why isn't "phonetics" spelled like it sounds? If olive oil is made from olives, what is baby oil made from? Or if ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy?

All kidding aside, I am blessed. YOU are blessed...not just with some good fortune and luck. YOU and I are blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing in Christ! Because you and I are united in Christ, there is a great deal of blessing from God we can be thankful for today. Before you run off and begin your list of tasks, take a moment and thank the Lord for those blessings that He has given to you and your family.
