Happy 25th Birthday Cup of Joe

 

Happy 25th Birthday!!!! Wait, what? Yes, it's hard to believe that Cup of Joe is celebrating 25 years of encouragement and inspiration! In 1997, a small column I wrote began running in the corner of a Carman Ministries newsletter. I was honored to serve the music ministry of Carman in the 80's and 90's and he was so generous to help me share what was in my heart. Carman's ministry was ahead of its time and impacted millions of people all over the world. Together we produced over 1000 live events and in the years I was there, we witnessed more than a million people accept Christ. It was such a blessing to be able to share each month with our ministry partners that made those events, records and tours possible. In 2007, thanks to the internet, the Cup of Joe blog was created: a rich blend of inspiration for your daily grind. What was the goal? To encourage and inspire people through written and spoken word. 

Here we are in 2022, thousands of articles shared and millions of people reached in the last two decades and a half. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

In an age where we can easily post and share on a variety of platforms, the impact of  encouragement has no limitations. Inspiration is instant. And because you share the quotes, videos and articles it can continue to make people smile and bring a little hope to anyone that sips a cup. My favorite product that we have done has to be my third book, Dreams2Destiny which came out in 2006. My heart was to inspire people to pursue the calling that the Lord had placed within them. I was honored to do a book tour with appearances on several major Christian networks including Harvest and Daystar. It was the first time I personally had ever done anything like that and it was life changing in so many ways. I was inspired. Now we have eight books published and thousands of articles written and shared. And every time someone smiles, I smile too! What a reward!
