Romans 12:12

We have been praying for you this week! Yes, you! At the beginning of every new year we all get excited about the fresh start, the new year resolutions and changes we desire to make. Then, our old routines seem to show up unannounced and we get thrown off the path. That one mistake derails us and now the guilt arrives. And before you know it, nothing has really changed and we just want to give up all hope.
Give yourself a break! We all fall short in so many ways and when we do, it's not the end, just a misstep. Just say, "Lord, I messed things up a bit today and fell off the path. Would you help me get back to it?" That simple prayer of honesty will not only remove the guilt but usher you right back to the path that leads to fullness of joy. It's God's plan for you to live life in joy.
This scripture in Romans 12:12 is a nice reminder that everything is going to be alright.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer. A patient, faithful person will find joy in the end. Have a fantastic day!
