Help, Hope and Healing
One of the things I love best about church is the fellowship with other people. There is a sense of community that you feel when you are with people that are moving towards one purpose. The messages that are taught always inspire me and provide nourishment for my spirit. The worship music helps me to center myself, pray and renew my soul.
Perhaps that is why Jesus himself said that he wanted us to never abandon coming together with other Jesus followers. He knew that we would find hope, help and healing in that environment and that His Word would fuel the flight of the dreams and purposes He planted within us.
How do you feed your spirit? Are you in a community of faith that walks with you through the challenging times? If not, why don't you seek out one this weekend and find your tribe. Not only will you feel better but you will also start to see positive results in so many areas of your life.
'And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—
and all the more as you see the Day approaching. '
Hebrews 10:24-25
