Romans 12:12

 

Hope is powerful. When you lose it, nothing else seems to matter. I have found the best way to keep hope close is to be joy-filled. That means I understand that my happiness is not contingent on my circumstances. So I choose joy. I realize that even when things are hard, I need to settle down and let patience do her thing. I am being strengthened and I grow. So today, take these words to heart: be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer.
