Help Someone Grow

God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and  salvation! For when we ourselves are comforted, we will certainly comfort you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer 

 2 Corinthians 1

There are so many things about life these days that are uncomfortable. In tough places and dark spaces, we need encouragement to find our way out. God has connected us to the people in our lives for very specific reasons. You are surrounded by others that need you to bring hope, peace, joy and comfort. You may feel like this isn't possible because you are dealing with some of your own drama right now. Again, people are all around and God has placed them there. Chances are, they may help bring comfort to you! When you have endured and pressed through a trial, you need to use what you have learned to help someone else. The fact of the matter is this: God comforts you so you can comfort someone else. 

Don't get stuck gazing back at all you have gone through. I would even encourage you to stop talking about the past and start praying towards the future! Use what you know to help someone grow. Let God comfort you so you can pass it on today!
