When the Answer is No

There have been many, many times in my life when I prayed for an answer from the Lord and it was no. I would be disappointed, sometimes angry and begin my pity party for one almost immediately. As I grew older, I suppose I became a bit wiser. Now I understand that when I get an answer from the Lord that is no, a better yes will show up somewhere down the road. I just need to keep moving forward and trust Him. 

God is the only one who sees the BIG picture. He knows where He is trying to take us and if we would just obey the leading of His spirit, we will find that where we end up when we trust Him is the absolute best place for us. So I encourage you with these words today. Trust that when the answer is no, there’s a better yes down the road. Praying for you!
