Sparkling Surprises

Though the path is difficult and the scenery dull at the moment, there are sparkling surprises just around the bend. Stay on the path I have selected for you. It is truly the path of Life.

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

This popped up from my feed from a post one year ago. What a difference a year makes! For so many right now, the Lord is beginning to lavish upon them the "sparkling surprises" of unspeakable joy, unending peace and undeniable love. To remain in that "spiritual space", all that is required is staying on the path. With all of the things that try to move us off this path it can be challenging. I join you today in praying that we walk on that path daily, heads held high, looking for and acknowledging those "sparkling surprises" that the Lord presents. I've a feeling they have only just begun.
