Shine!

I must confess that there are moments that I seem to give in to complaining. I don't like to argue much but I have to work at not complaining. I believe that one of the reasons we need to eliminate this is that complaining drains us of our strength. I get tired very quickly the more I complain. It also leads us to be critical of others which makes us targets for criticism. So how do you complain less? You learn how to shine more! You are the light of the world and you were designed to shine through all of the darkness that exists in this world today. You and I shine by holding tightly to the Word. We need to remember all of the good things God says about us.

One simple way to be less of a complainer is to be more of an encourager. Give more compliments and spread some joy. Let your light shine. There will be less arguments and you will find less people criticizing the things you say and do. So, my friends, shine on!
