How Should You Behave?

Romans 12:13 Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. 15Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. 17Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. 

Sometimes I like to take a scripture and look at every piece of it...slowly. Doing so with this verse from Romans 12, you can see some incredible things. These verses are part of a section that describes how a gospel-centered believer should behave. That's very important these days.

What could happen in our lives if you adopted these ideas as a lifestyle? Contribute to the needs of your brothers and sisters in Christ. Seek to show some hospitality. Bless people that hurt you. Be sympathetic to what others are going through...good and bad. Live in harmony. And let peace rule wherever you end up. Pretty amazing isn't it? That would be the perfect way to live!
