Life is Like a Puzzle
Several years ago during our family vacation in the summer we tried to put a huge puzzle together. The puzzle had thousands of pieces and it was quite overwhelming at first. To me it looked impossible and very time consuming. I tried to get it started and put the edges together because they are the easiest for me. Same thing with my life. Setting the boundaries is the easiest part. Trying to figure out what goes inside is the hard part! Same with the puzzle. The inside pieces are the hardest because many of them look the same but it only fits together one way! Fortunately when dealing with the puzzle, the picture of the way it should look is always close by for reference. I like that! That year it was my brother in law, Chet, who ended up being the one who spent hours finding each piece and he was there when the puzzle was complete. Of course he never came on another vacation!
Putting your life together may seem a bit tedious and somewhat overwhelming at times. You may think that there is no way you will ever be whole again. Start with the edges. Put the edges together first and then be patient. One piece at a time...just keep seeking and you will find the perfect fit. If it fits, you just can't quit!
