Let Your Conversation be Attractive

The other morning as I read these words: "let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone." Colossians 4:6 NLT

Can you imagine having the right response at the right time for every person that you meet? It seems somewhat unattainable to me at times. Still, I see that by letting my talk be gracious and attractive, I become equipped and empowered to respond properly. In my job we are trying to change some processes and the structure for the way we communicate with each other and the people of our church. Our staff is large so at times you can be in a room with many opinions, not all of them beneficial. Sometimes people may even attack other people with words that are just not attractive at all. If you want to have the right response for everyone, let your conversation be gracious and attractive.

Attractive conversation draws people to you. It creates an environment for growth, hope and encouragement. And that is what every one of us needs today.

So when you speak today, let your conversation be gracious and attractive. I believe that you will not only hear some amazing things coming out of your mouth, you will hear others being nicer as well.
