Lead Me to the Rock

From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; 

Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:2

Every single day I find myself needing to be surrounded by the spirit of God. There are moments in life when challenges and difficulties come against you and you you find out how strong(or weak) you really are. When we feel overwhelmed, its usually because we are carrying things that we should not carry and involved with things in our own power and strength. When life throws rocks at you, pray this little prayer...

"Lord lead me to the Rock that is higher than me."

Lord lift me up out of the mess and feed my spirit the message that you want me to understand in the midst of all of this.  Set my feet on solid ground. You are the Rock that is stable. Help me to cast all of my cares upon you. Teach me how to exchange the heavy things for those that you have given me strength to handle. I may not understand all of it but I can stand under it!

Today I am praying for all of those overwhelmed to be changed into overcomers.
