BIG BLOCK LETTERS

I've always been a bit futuristic. I love to dream and imagine how great things can become. People die because they lack vision. I do not want to be one of those casualties. In the book of Habakkuk it refers to the Lord answering the prophet as he was seeking some explanation to the current events. The Lord answered...

"Write this.
Write what you see.
Write it out in big block letters 
so that it can be read on the run.
This vision-message is a witness
pointing to what's coming.
It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait!
And it doesn't lie.
If it seems slow in coming, wait.
It's on its way. It will come right on time."

A friend of mine once told me that when it is on the paper it is off the mind. He was encouraging me to write down things so that my mind would not get cluttered and overloaded.To this day, I journal and draw, make lists and take notes to help me catalog my thoughts and secure my ideas for eternity. I like this scripture from the Message bible because of the way it says it: write the vision down in BIG BLOCK LETTERS. 

The fact is that God will lead us and place images in our mind of future things to help us move in that direction. Once you have caught a glimpse of glory, your spirit will ache to be closer and closer to it! And you can be certain that one day the things that the Lord has shown you will indeed come to pass. Though it is slow in coming, be patient. It IS on its way and it will arrive at just the right time!

Your dreams and visions from the Lord will most definitely show up in your life if you keep believing and keep walking in faith. Or running in faith! Read it on the run! Write it down! You are about to see something greater than you ever imagined!
