Are You on the Guest List?

God, who gets invited to dinner at your place?

How do we get on your guest list?

2“Walk straight, act right, tell the truth.

3-4“Don’t hurt your friend, don’t blame your neighbor;

despise the despicable.

5“Keep your word even when it costs you,

make an honest living, never take a bribe.

“You’ll never get blacklisted if you live like this.”  Psalm 15

The hottest ticket on Broadway right now is the one to see “Hamilton”.  Getting on the invite list is nearly impossible. If God was throwing a dinner party, I bet that might just be an even harder to get ticket, don’t you think? You may say yes, but just read today’s Psalm. It’s not only possible to be on this list, its highly probable. Just live right! Be honest, don’t hurt people and never abuse your position. Scripture says you will NEVER get blacklisted living like this. 

As much as I’d love to see “Hamilton”, I really want to have a seat at God’s dinner table.
