Goodbye, Hello!
We are so close to the finish line of 2015. At this time every year I am sometimes thinking about what did not happen and goals that I had set for myself that were unrealized. I have to remind myself constantly that I did the best that I could do, I trusted the Lord and every step that I took this year(good and bad) was somehow mixed into the best outcome for me by God. As a follower of Christ that is MY promise. He will take all the stuff and when it is all over, His anointing will mix it together into something that brings Him glory and works out good for me.(Rom 8:28)
After the year that I have walked through, I've had the door open for several days, ready to say goodbye to 2015! I am so incredibly grateful for all of those steps that the Lord has orchestrated; and the stops too. And I am thankful for you, the cup of joe readers and prayer warriors that wondered what was going on in the heart and mind of this guy as he set out to pursue a new season. Let me tell you a little bit about what is in my heart for Cup of Joe in 2016.
In 2016, my goals are a bit lofty. I have a total of 6 books that I have written and several hundred audio messages. There are some espresso shots of video that are quick bursts of encouragement. And I want to make certain that people can benefit by the things that the Lord has taught me anytime they want, especially when they need it. To make that easier, the Media Player has been upgraded with a fresh look and is user-friendly for your desktop or any mobile device or tablet. You can scroll through messages, share files through social media and even make donations to help. You should bookmark it so that you can stay updated with any current audio or video files I post there. (media.cupofjoe.tv) I also would love to finish a digital version of my book Transitions:Grace to Navigate the Storms of Life so that it can be downloaded instantly through Amazon, Kindle, etc. This book has blessed so many people that are going through transitions and it can reach more once this is done. In addition to these I want to complete and print my 7th book which will be called Friends4Ever. I am so excited about this book because its all about 4 friends you should have in your life to help you stay close to Jesus. It won't take you long to read and it will stay with you forever! My hope is that this will be available in paperback and digitally by summer. I will also to continue encouraging others through written and spoken word through cupofjoe.tv and all of the resources available.
To accomplish these items it will take an investment of resources and prayer. I have found in my life that when God puts something in your heart to do, its just a matter of time until it happens if you stay close to Him and are obedient. The goal for 2016 is to raise $12,000 to operate and complete the items that we know we are moving towards right now. If you don't aim at something, you will never hit it! So please join us in prayer as we cross the threshold of 2015 and move into 2016, trusting the Lord to bring to pass all that He desires for Cup of Joe, Inc.
