Tune In!

Proverbs 2:2 Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding.  3 Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding.  4 Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. NLT

Tune your ears to wisdom. Easy to say but it takes some effort to really tune in. Some folks don't like to "tune in". Have you ever been in the car with people who listen to the radio? Not just a part of it, but they listen to ALL of it! They roll up and down the dial searching for a station to listen to and they never stop and let the song play all the way through because they are in constant SCAN mode. They are never happy, never resting, always changing.For many folks I think this is how they look for God. This is the method they use in trying to “tune in” to His purpose and plan…they are always "scanning", searching for the next seminar, DVD or series that will change everything. What ends up happening is that they never lock in on the right frequency so that they can simply enjoy the music.

Wisdom has its own frequency and the only way to enjoy the benefits that come with it is to tune in to it. To set the dial on your own system. And now here's a cool thing to remember in this chapter:2 +3+4= 9  Read verses 2,3,and 4 and then look at verse 9…If you tune your ears, cry out for insight and ask for understanding; if you search for wisdom like hidden treasure... THEN you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. You will discover every good path!When you tune in to God, you will know the right course of action to choose every time. It just takes persistent prayer and passionate pursuit. So stop scanning today and tune in to wisdom's frequency so that you can enjoy all of its benefits.
