Hunger for Holiness

Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

Today I will make my best effort to live in peace with others and to be holy. Holiness isn't talked about much these days. To be holy means to be dedicated or consecrated to God or a religious purpose; to be used for sacred purposes.

There needs to be an increase in our appetite for things that God desires: a hunger for holiness. We need to do our best to detach from the corrupt and polluted ideas of non-believers and attach to the divine purposes God had in mind when He breathed life into us. Dedicate yourself, your words and actions to a sacred, spiritual purpose today. As you allow peace to rule your heart and life God will bring more peace to you.
