Understand This

James 1:19-20 Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires.

I'm usually speaking way before I should! And if I'm honest about listening, well I should have been given two mouths and one ear. Ecause I talk way more than I listen! And I don't even want to try and describe how I handle anger:)

The bottom line is that we do much better when we choose to be slow to speak and even slower to get angry. Anger never produces anything godly.

Listen before you speak and be still before your anger peaks!
