Pass the Salt

COL 4: 2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. 3And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. 4Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. 5Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. 6Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

This would be a great week for a divine turnaround. The world is poised and ready for a celebration of thankfulness. You can't be thankful without being prayerful. Prayer moves you in the direction the Lord intended for you and thankfulness keeps you going. Doors will open and people will show up to help you. We must also remember that the way we treat others defines the way we are treated. Our conversation must be soaked in grace and seasoned with salt.

So why not start praying with more intensity this week. Be alert and use the weapon of thankfulness all week long. Pass the salt and let the grace of God pour out of your life and into your conversations. It's going to be an amazing week!
