I'm Waiting!

Wait a minute! Just wait, it's almost time! Sorry you had to wait! We hear this word every day many times. Maybe right now in your life you are waiting for something...a check in the mail...a thank you from the boss...direction for a huge life decision...wait, wait, wait!
Nobody likes the waiting. We want what we want right now. As I was reading this scripture one day, it made me laugh. Let me share it with you:
"Therefore the Lord will wait that He may be gracious to you. And therefore He may be exalted that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for Him." Isaiah 30:18

Look closely...it starts with the Lord waiting and ends with us waiting! Sometimes I feel like we will never meet and the timing will never be right. But God always delivers and He's always on time. His grace is sufficient for any situation and circumstance and He always comes through. I remember writing down a short little poem after reading this verse that I leave you with today!

 I wait on God for the steps to take
I wait on God for the choice to make
I wait on God for His inner leading
I wait on God for it’s Him I’m needing
I wait on God till I start to see
That all the while God had to wait on me
