Rejoice!

Psalm 96:11-13 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;let the sea resound, and all that is in it. Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them;let all the trees of the forest sing for joy. Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes,he comes to judge the earth.He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.

There is nothing as relaxing to me as the sound of waves rushing in on the shore. In fact that sound is what puts me to sleep every night. I have it on my phone and it makes me feel like I am at the beach. When you merge that sound and thought with jubilant fields and trees that sing with joy, the nature around us can be very exciting. All creation rejoices for its Creator. We ought to as well!

Take a moment today to listen to the song that the trees are singing. Look for the glad things, the joyful things that are all around you. Listen for the waves and just let yourself enjoy all that God has created for you. Rejoice!
