Power Surge

Matthew 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said, “No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.”

Everyone is intrigued by "power". We've got power bars, powerade, and we take power walks and power naps...power is something everyone wants more of. The Bible talks about divine power given to those who believe in Jesus and know him as Lord. That is what I want to see operate in my life... the power to help the sick get well and the lame walk again! Imagine praying for someone who cannot see and watching them see for the first time! Possible? Absolutely!

It's hard to imagine seeing a miracle, something good, and thinking it had anything to do with evil. Satan has limited power and it's no match for the power of Christ. The power of Christ can move mountains, calm storms and bring peace to every chaotic situation. So could you use some "divine" power today? Ask Jesus to show up strong for you and get ready for a power surge!
