Is Your Faith a Secret?

2 Timothy 2:1-2 So you, my son, be strong (strengthened inwardly) in the grace (spiritual blessing) that is to be found only in Christ Jesus. And the instructions which you have heard from me along with many witnesses, transmit and entrust as a deposit to reliable and faithful men who will be competent and qualified to teach others also. (Amplified Version)

Too many of us keep our faith a secret. Nobody knows what we really believe because when it comes to sharing our faith, we become silent. Being saved for eternity with Christ is something to talk about! Following Jesus is the only way to go! When we were given the Great Commission to go into all the world and make disciples, it is clear to see the value in mentoring others and reproducing reliable and more faith-filled people. We are to make good deposits into others, to pass it on so that others will be able to experience this inward strength and all the spiritual blessings that come to every believer. If we care about His Word, we will share His Word. If we care about people we will tell them about Jesus.

There are far too many people today living broken or fragmented lives that need you and I to deposit some Good News, some life changing grace into their lives and walk with them as they walk with Christ. They will grow to be competent and qualified and then teach others and the mission of making disciples will continue. The secret is out!

Let's not keep our faith a secret! Lets change this world one person at a time. I believe there IS good in this world. You, be the good!
