A Benefit Package
If we stop trying to carry the burdens of others and our own and surrender them to the Lord...if we stop pointing fingers of blame at others...if we quit backbiting and gossiping; then we set ourselves up for some great things. Let's look at a few...
“our light shall dawn in the darkness, your darkness shall be as noonday”
It’s a promise that the divine gifts that have been planted in us will be utilized. Harvest time will come. Hold on to faith…hold out hope. We will be a blessing. People will respect us because we shine when the world tries to cast a shadow over us. There will be nothing “dark” or “overcast” in our lives. Even the “nights” of our life will be like noontime. Illumination!!
“the Lord will guide us…continually.”
We have a divine gps that tells us what route to take. Even the men, who may seem to get lost and not ask for directions: contrary to popular opinion, we are never lost. God will continuously direct us as we stay close to him and sensitive to his leading.
“satisfy your soul in drought, strengthen your bones. You shall be watered like a well-watered garden…a spring whose waters do not fail.”
Again, notice the continual satisfaction…bones getting stronger instead of becoming brittle. A well watered garden is colorful, beautiful, and tells you a great deal about the owner. A sweet fragrance exudes from its location.
“You shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called Repairers of the Breach and Restorers of Streets to Dwell In.”
Places that others have given up on, we repair. Foundation work we do…making secure things that will spread out over many generations. What we do today, builds the future for our children and our children’s children. We are making a difference each and every day.
There are people that need help. They are depressed by living under the oppression of the enemy. The best thing to do when we feel this way is to pray and fast...seek God, and call upon Him. When we are in sync with Him, lives will dramatically changed as a result of the work God has called us to do. Are you ready for a positive change? To make a HUGE impression and chase away depression?
Constant light, continual guidance, complete satisfaction and strength,and the ability and opportunities to repair and restore people, places and things! Wow, what a word for this week!
