Hope Does Not Disappoint
Life isn't funny sometimes. Things don't go as we expect, people don't act like they should and our dreams can get squashed before they even start to take shape. But God is always there working in the midst of the happenings to build a better you. Look at this scripture:
Romans 5:3-5 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
I know...you are probably saying how can I rejoice in what's going on right now? You grin and bear it because you believe in something better coming. Too often we sabotage His dreams for us with our negative words and thoughts. Trouble works on you but eventually works in you and builds character. Good character helps you hope in the best that is on the way.
God loves you and wants the best for you. Hope in that today and try to keep your head up and your words positive. In that hope you will never be disappointed!
