7 Times Today

Psalm 119:164-165 I will praise you seven times a day because all your regulations are just. Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble.

I think that as I read this today I decided that it would be a great idea to try scheduling my "praise breaks". We schedule meetings and other appointments, how about 7 times a day to praise the Lord?

So today starting at 8am I will have a praise break every two hours. My 7th praise break will complete a 12 hour portion of the day! And don't forget the benefits of great peace and sure footing wherever I go!

I would hope that praising the Lord would be a constant in each and every day. But sometimes things happen that try to take away that peace and pull the rug out from under my feet. By acknowledging the Lord and thanking Him throughout the day perhaps I can ensure that my praise breaks will once again usher stability and peace into my life.
