What Does Jesus Want ME To Do?
Matthew 28:16-20 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
What does Jesus want me to do now? Usually after the celebration of our resurrected Savior people are different. Some have been introduced to Christ for the first time and others returned to Him. This week, many people are navigating their way through work and home as a fully devoted follower of Christ. Something changed on Easter and now they feel different and may even be talking differently. But what now? What do we do with this newfound faith and excitement that filled our soul and renewed our minds?
Jesus, once resurrected, made an appointment with the disciples on a mountain. He met them there to further remove doubts and more importantly to let them know what they should do. The plan was not hard...go and make disciples and teach people all the things that you have learned.
In the church it is called the Great Commission and still today when anyone is seeking an answer to the "what now" question, that's the best place to start. Go, talk to others about the Jesus you know. Tell them He loves them and has a plan for their life.
Share your story about Jesus. You will find an exciting and interesting life along the way!
