Lavish Gift Giving

Ephesians 1:3 How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. What pleasure he took in planning this! He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.

There is no better place to be than within the lavish gift-giving arms of our Lord. Sometimes I feel so alone and isolated but then I read the scriptures and see that I am the focus of His love. He has a plan and purpose for ME! To be whole and to be made holy!

My prayer today is that you will realize that the Lord has taken great pleasure in charting out the amazing course of your life. And His wish is that you would find that path and start to enjoy the success and blessing that comes from being right where you are supposed to be. He is focused upon you today! Let the lavish gift giving begin!
