Nostalgic:)

This afternoon I revisited some memories and landmarks from my past. As I arrived in Nashville I went to my old neighborhood and saw our home, then went to the school the kids went to elementary in and even saw my old church! I've posted some pictures for you on Facebook so you can go on this journey with me. Joes Facebook Page

It's very emotional to see where you have come from. I stopped by a Mexican restaurant that our family used to eat in ALL the time. In fact, my two boys probably thought they were Mexican for about three years of their life! That place now has a Starbucks right next store so Joe on the Go was very happy!

My last stop included a conversation with my mentor and former pastor, Steve Allen of Oak Hill Assembly in Nashville. The church looked beautiful and just stepping on the property brought back memories of leading worship, teaching a Dreams2Destiny Sunday School class and the many friends I got to know while there. Thank you Steve and Vada for your love and prayers. They are still working:)
The people and the memories will always be with me:)

Now it's a bit of shut eye before I head to North Carolina to see the rest of the Joneses! Blessings to you!
