He Holds the Mountains...

Well the first leg of this road trip is completed as I say so long to North Carolina. What I was able to see here is the beauty of God's handiwork in the mountains and all that surround it. Chimney Rock Park with its amazing rock formations and hills is truly breath-taking. Though it can be a bit nauseating to navigate the roads as they wind through these mountains, you must always stop and take in the incredible scenery. I will close this leg with the first few verses of Psalm 95...

Come, let us sing to the LORD!

Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

Let us come to him with thanksgiving.

Let us sing psalms of praise to him.

For the LORD is a great God,a great King above all gods.

He holds in his hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains.

The sea belongs to Him for He made it.

His hands formed the dry land, too.

Come, let us worship and bow down.
