Listen...

Listen, ooh, wah, ooh, do you want to know a secret? Yes, it was a beautiful line from a Beatles song with some exceptional wisdom...LISTEN! God gave you two ears and only one mouth. Guess what's more important to Him? As I was reading some verses in Isaiah 55 I noticed this:

Listen to me, and you will eat what is good.
You will enjoy the finest food.  

“Come to me with your ears wide open.
Listen, and you will find life.
I will make an everlasting covenant with you.
I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.

Isaiah 55:2-3

I guess it's not a secret after all. If you want a full life AND a full belly, you may need to start by closing your mouth and opening your ears! Can you hear me now?
