Talk to Your Father!

James 1:5 says, "If you don't know what you're doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You'll get his help, and won't be condescended to when you ask for it?" MSG
All of us need help every now and then. Where we get that help determines whether or not we are fulfilled by the answer.
I would usually go to the people that were closest to me...not close relationship wise but close geographically. It always felt comforting to grab the closest person to ask or vent to. Even after accepting Christ as my Lord and Savior I was still disciplined and conditioned to the proximity of the help and not the promise of it. Today, I keep reprogramming myself to do what James suggested, talk to the Father, God, and let Him answer because He wants to help...He's always right and He will never make you feel small or guilty!
So, with what's left this year, why not join me in changing the way, I mean the person you seek your help from? If you don't know, talk to God. Wise men still seek HIM!
