Need a Grant?
From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest.
He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
8 He guards the paths of the just
and protects those who are faithful to him.
9 Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair,
and you will find the right way to go.
Could you use a "grant" today? Proverbs 2 talks about how the Lord is ready to help. Notice that he wants to grant WISDOM and some good ole common sense. Anyone can apply for these grants but there are some special requirements to receive them. You must be morally and ethically sound. You must act honestly and do the best you can to live in right-standing with others. You do your part and the grant-giver will do his. The power in these grants will alter your life in many ways. Common sense is a wonderful thing. But this wisdom goes deeper.
Wisdom penetrates your heart and brings inner and outer transformation. It saves you on the inside and also from the evils that are external. Wisdom will watch over you. And Wisdom keeps you from breaking commitments.
Isn't it time you stopped taking these blessings for GRANTed? Let the Lord overwhelm you today and bring this incredible favor into your life. The process is simple...you do the right thing, He grants you the best things. You will know and understand what is right, just and fair...AND you WILL find the right way to go!
