Evolution vs. Creation

The other day while driving through town I saw a billboard on a sign out in front of a church that basically said their new series was a three week look at Evolution vs. Creation. I smiled for a moment and then suddenly I got a little "miffed" that we would need to take any time at all to debate how we got here. I thought why should we use a church service to try and justify something that is clearly obvious when you believe the Word of God. Take a look at Isaiah 42:5... 
God, the Lord, created the heavens and stretched them out.
He created the earth and everything in it.
He gives breath to everyone,
life to everyone who walks the earth.
In case you missed that, read it again...God created it all and did it all!
Guess now we can talk about things that really pertain to our lives....how to walk in faith, how to listen to the voice of God or how to identify and assimilate the gifts of the spirit. Let's build up and encourage the Body of Christ so that they can build up others.
