Power Outage

Luke 11:20  But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 21 “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe.
22 But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up his plunder.
23 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.
Yesterday the fury of tornado season ran through Oklahoma. It started in the west and moved through the state throughout the day. When evening came it was at my house. A furious squall as scripture calls it. I always wanted to be a storm chaser. So I ran after this one, camera in tow and a prayer in my heart. 
As I was filming south of my home I caught several explosions...transformers were popping in the city of Haskell Oklahoma while I was shooting. It seconds their power was completely out.
I thought of this verse. Power was fine and functioning until something more powerful came and overtook it. Debris was flying everywhere from the magnitude of the storms power. 
Many people today are exploding and imploding spiritually speaking because they trust in the wrong power. Everything seems to be going along fine and then something like this comes and it's lights out...in their finances, their family or their job. Don't let a power outage stop you. You and I need to put our trust IN THE LORD and in His mighty power for there is no other force on earth that can stand up against it. Greater is the God that lives in you than the tornadic activity that comes against you.
Whatever storm you are going through today, know that God is faithful and He is bigger than the storm. Things come and go. Life happens. But the ones who trust in the Lord will always be connected to POWER!
