I Desire Prayer

I desire therefore that the men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and disputing.  1 Tim 2:8
There is nothing as powerful as prayer. I would love to see everyone intent on prayer every day. Prayer is talking to God and developing a relationship. You cannot have a good relationship with anyone that you won't talk to. And that friendship won't grow properly if the only time you talk is when you want something.
Paul had a desire to see people of all races and backgrounds coming together to pray. He longed to see people put aside differences and disputes and embrace the One who puts all of those things to rest.
Next week our country will focus on prayer during the annual National Day of Prayer. We know that God said he would heal our land and forgive us if we would just talk to him. No matter where you are today, you can develop your prayer life. Just start talking! Talk to God throughout the day and not just during a scheduled quiet time. Get to know Him...I mean REALLY know Him. He knows you already!
