40 Days of Community and Communion

Col 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.4 Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.5 Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.
6 Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
There is a difference in being in a fight to survive and being in it to win it. There is a difference in faith and audacious faith. A difference in standing in stillness and praying to the Son and a Sun Stand Still prayer. This is a year that will determine the future of our families and our churches. There is an urgency this year that we must get embedded in our spirit. All of us could learn how to connect better as a community of adults and use every tool at our disposal to get the Good News of the Gospel out so that God can get it in to the hearts and lives of the people that we are connected to. At The Landing we are about to embark upon a mission, a unified mission of engaging our community while embracing our Creator. We are calling this project 40 Days of Community & Communion. The idea for us is all about getting out of our house(the church) and “connecting” to houses around us.(being the church)
Maybe this is your year as well to get out of your comfort zone. To become a friend and share your faith. What is all of us took 40 days this Lenten season to engage our communities and embrace out Creator? If you would like to join us and deepen your walk while enlarging your circle of influence just  send us a note and we will be happy to join with you. Expect miracles and expect God to show up strong! Devote yourself to prayer and be watchful and alert. Thank God for all that He has done! Make the most out of every opportunity!
Listen to the message announcing our mission!
