S is for Spiritual

This is going to be a SUPER week...the week leading up to the SUPER Bowl and the 2nd largest consumption of food day in the year. (Super Bowl Sunday ranks 2nd behind Thanksgiving) Though everything this week will be called SUPER, we will say that S is for SPIRITUAL.
Ephesians 1:3 says, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ." As you begin today see yourself as a spiritual being that has been empowered by every spiritual blessing that God can give. You have the ability to make good decisions. You have been chosen to develop some great relationships. And because God cares for you enough to bless you this way you have every possible chance for SUPERnatural success! So let your spirit rise up and live the life in the spirit that God has chosen for you. Romans 12:11 reminds us to "never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord." You do not lack any spiritual gift necessary to do anything that will be required of you today! That's a SUPER way to start the week isn't it?
