Divine Companionship

We close our COURAGEOUS week with one more verse from Joshua 1...
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Clearly we can see that fear will take courage out of our lives. Fear is the opposite of faith and it paralyzes the person and keeps them from moving in faith. When fear rises up, faith must be initiated. Faith comes by hearing so its very important to hear words of hope and inspiration.
The way to be certain that divine power and intervention will always be close is to be strong and courageous. In fact God commands it. Divine companionship chases away loneliness. Loneliness is not a loss of affection, its a loss of direction!
Face the danger of pain. That task you have been putting off because of the pending drama that could come from it...face it. That relationship that continues to drain life and joy from your very core...face it. God does not bring fear, He brings power. Power through love and a mind that thinks straight. Trust in the Lord, be strong and let courage take over. The Lord will be with you WHEREVER you go!
