Absolutely Everything
For many years of my life I searched for meaning and purpose in various people and a variety of things. Like most people, I thought if I hung out with the right folks and participated in the right activities I would gain popularity and find value for my life. And again, like many, all of these pursuits fell short.
This scripture could have saved me a great deal of time and heartache. Everything got started in him and find its purpose in him. Everything? Absolutely everything! A life devoted to things is fruitless. Our purpose can only truly be realized when we are in relationship with our Creator.
The closer we get to him the more we act like him. What kind of people are in your life? Do they build you up or tear you down? Are the things you are involved in lifting up peoples spirits or simply using time?
This is a great day to realize for yourself what this verse says. Everything, absolutely everything finds its purpose in Christ. Find your purpose today!
