Mood Swings

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”- Ephesians 5:19-20
I've been a singer most of my life. As a child I would sing to Beatles songs...as a teen it was Def Leppard and Chicago and now, well I sing alot of worship songs. It's part of being the worship singer at our church! There is nothing that can change my mood faster than turning on some music and singing at the top of my voice in the car on my way to the next appointment. It makes me feel soooo much better! I've learned the art of creating "mood swings"! If your mood is going to change anyway, you might as well learn how to control it! Singing words about the Lord is also great way to show thankfulness. That's why we are told to give thanks to the Lord by singing the psalms, singing the classics and writing our own tunes. Thank Him always and in all ways!
If you have been feeling down, why not pop in a praise CD today and see what happens? It's time to swing your mood in a positive direction. Put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness! I will start my day listening to: "Stronger" by Hillsong Live and "Revelation Song" by Phillips, Craig and Dean. I'm swinging!
