Taste and See
psalm 34:8 Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
9 Fear the LORD, you his saints,
for those who fear him lack nothing.
10 The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

There are many people today that "tasting God" to see if it is something that they like. They try out churches and travel to seminars all trying to find something that will"taste" good and take away their problems. We have small groups, or "tasting parties" and special events where we can sample the many different flavors that God has to offer. We were told to taste and see so it must be ok, right?
There is nothing wrong with tasting but there has got to be a time when you actually swallow and digest the Word and allow it to help you grow into the believer that God made you to be. Troubles will come, even when you have Christ in your heart. The difference is that you have Christ to help you so that you do not have to face the challenges alone. He delivers the righteous out of ALL their trouble!
Take refuge in Him, have a holy reverence for Him and seek Him in all that you do. The end result is this...YOU will lack no good thing! I can taste that! Give me some more!
