Gifts that Keep on Giving!

I love gifts! I enjoy giving them to others and I really enjoy receiving them! In 1 Corinthians 12 Paul talks to the readers about gifts: spiritual gifts and he says some interesting things about them. He begins by telling us that we should not be ignorant about these gifts. In this case, ignorance is NOT bliss! We need to know that there are some giftings that have already been downloaded to the one that receives Jesus Christ as Lord. They are listed in this chapter. Supernatural manifestations of the Spirit of God are already inside of you and you need to know that!
He continues by saying that the realization and utilization of these gifts are for the common good of the church...God's people. You see as we live saved lives these special gifts from God surface and should bless the people that we worship with, that we work beside, that live in our home. These gifts truly keep on giving!
Know this...if you have asked Christ into your heart, you are saved. You have activated the spiritual power God planted in you to actually start to see the things listed in this chapter come into being. Miracles...great faith...discerning of spirits...God is going to bring out the best in you so that you can live a blessed life. Oh, and one more thing...the gifts that God gives are with you for all time! Meditate on that today!
